During my time at the Foundling Museum I commissioned Will to create exhibition and project films and a podcast series. More recently he worked with me to craft a soundscape script from verbatim historical sources for the Hampshire Cultural Trust. Will is a delight to work with. He is creative, capable and collaborative and delivers to a very high standard. He listens carefully to the needs of clients, and contributes thoughtfully. He gets right to the heart of a story, expertly selecting and ordering the strongest elements into an engaging narrative. Interviewees and presenters give their very best because Will puts them at their ease.

“Will edits our podcast series, In a Mother’s Mind, supporting us to share our key messages in an authentic and impactful way. He’s reliable, flexible and an all-round pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Will to other charities looking to produce creative outputs, such as podcast series or short informative videos.”

I’ve worked with Will for over 20 years as a cameraman and as a filmmaker and editor. Will and I worked in Africa, in Ghana, Nigeria and Djibouti, for a series about the BBC World Service. He was also the cameraman on the weekly BBC Arts series Tamasha, made for BBC Persian and filmed extensively in the studio and on location in the UK and abroad. Will shot and edited a 25’ film I produced about the Anna Freud Centre, as they left their historic Hampstead home in 2019. The film was beautifully shot, directed and edited, and was much appreciated by the client. In all my dealings with Will, I’ve found him patient, calm, kind and thoroughly professional. He is a very talented film maker, with a keen eye and is a delight to work with.

“I’ve worked with Will on HappenedHere, the history podcast with Stephen Fry and Joanna Lumley and a whole “theatre company’ of young actors and writers for nearly four years now. Will has been a critical part of the team, shaping the sound editing with care and imagination. He has also deployed his skills as a lighting cameraman for some great making of footage and across the board his editorial ear and eye are keen. He is also utterly reliable. Things get done when he says they will. Always. And as any Producer knows, that really matters. Thank you Will!!”
